Thoughts on where to eat your lunch.
The men are better looking at Exelon Plaza than Daley Plaza. I believe this is because Daley Plaza is surrounded by government buildings (Daley Center, Thompson Center, County Building) while Exelon Plaza is surround by buildings where people make a lot of money (Chase Tower, etc.). Civil servants are not cute; keep this in mind when you’re deciding where to eat lunch.

A pack of high schoolers on the train. All wearing bathing suits even though it’s 70 degrees. Boys and girls paired off as couples and fondling one another even though all the boys are very clearly gay. Just thought I’d share.

surawesome: I’m really creeped out by that Olivia Wilde Boob GIF that everyone keeps posting. You’re all posting about gender equality and respecting women’s bodies and the pervasive rape culture and allowing for reproductive rights etc etc, and then some girl shakes her tits and everyone’s all “oommg gif of the year amirite? droolz i can die now” I don’t get it. It’s creepy.  ...

I need recommendations for music to listen to while commuting. My commute just became twice as long and I’m going to murder someone if I have to listen to the guy chewing his gum and singing along to his ipod for 45 minutes every morning. Any suggestions?

The brainstorming myth. Really interesting New Yorker article about how brainstorming is an ineffective way to spark creativity- despite what our 6th grade teachers may have told us.
